We had a two-year old Standardbred come in named Pretty Girl, who set out eating the fence boards. It got so bad some were completely eaten through, requiring ten of them to be replaced. After being on the
Free Choice Minerals for about three months, the fence chewing stopped completely. She mostly ate the 1:1 at the beginning, probably for the phosphorus, but she continued eating the Free Choice minerals, all of them, until she left here to begin her training career for her owner at the track. We are thankful that we had the opportunity to have her here and build up her mineral reserves before beginning a very demanding career.
