Jim's Thoughts on Exercise and Nutrition

Ignore what information you hear about needing 30 minutes of exercise three times weekly. We need more! Much more! I highly recommend everybody to exercise vigorously at least thirty minutes daily. A healthy heart needs to be "exercised" to continue to properly function...and three times a week isn't going to cut it.

Keep homocysteine (an amino acid in the blood) levels low to reduce the risk of coronary heart disease, stroke and peripheral vascular disease. Do this by taking sufficient amounts of vitamin B. Dynamite® for Adults and Children and DM Plus contain the B vitamins, however you might consider adding a separate B-Complex to your basic program, especially B12, B6 and folic acid.

Take time to connect with the earth. Recent studies show the technique called "grounding" to be greatly beneficial to health. With the exception of the past few generations, humans have had constant contact with the earth. Now we receive very little... we wear synthetic materials on our feet, we sleep on synthetic materials, and are surrounded by electric waves. Take a few moments each day to allow your bare feet to touch the ground outside or get your bare hands in the dirt of your garden. You may notice less inflammation, a better quality of sleep, and better blood flow.

Of course, always talk to your health professional before implementing any changes.
