Combat Odors, Naturally

Let’s face it; we all have odors in our home and barn. Whether it’s the cat litter box, your riding helmet or a ripe diaper pail, life can be smelly. But do you know what you are spraying when using drug store odor cover-ups? The following is a shortened list of toxic ingredients commonly found in these sprays:

•surfactant (quaternary ammonium salts)
•metazene
•bromsalicylanilide tetrahydrofural
•dichlorodifluoromethanol
•methoxychlor
•o-phenylphenol
•p-dichlorobenzene
•piperonyl butoxide
•pyrethrin
•trichloromonofluoromethane
•formaldehyde
•acetone

Many of these chemicals are known to trigger asthma, headaches, cause numbness, itching, burning, stinging, tingling and other serious health conditions. A common chemical used in air fresheners paralyzes your nose to odor sensitivity, instead of odor removal.

A study conducted by the University of Washington of top-selling laundry products and air fresheners found the products emitted dozens of different chemicals. All six products tested gave off at least one chemical regulated as toxic or hazardous under federal laws, but none of those chemicals was listed on the product labels.

“Nearly 100 volatile organic compounds were emitted from these six products, and none were listed on any product label. Plus, five of the six products emitted one or more carcinogenic ‘hazardous air pollutants,’ which are considered by the Environmental Protection Agency to have no safe exposure level,” said Anne Steinemann, a UW professor of civil and environmental engineering and of public affairs.

Another study conducted by University of Bristol called “Children of the ’90s” found that 32 percent more babies suffered diarrhea in homes where air fresheners were used every day, compared with homes where they were used once a week or less, and they had significantly more earaches in these homes as well. Air fresheners also affected mothers—those who used them daily suffered nearly 10 percent more headaches. Perhaps most surprising is the finding that women who lived in homes with daily air freshener use had a 26 percent increased risk of depression.

All-Natural Deodorizer contains no toxic chemicals, no environmental pollutants and toxic gasses. Instead of using chemicals to mask odors, All-Natural Deodorizer literally disintegrates the odor molecule, resulting in fresh, clean-smelling air. Dynamite’s All-Natural Deodorizer is a safe, environmentally friendly odor-destroying agent that works by combining the oxygen in the air with odor molecules, causing the odor to disappear in minutes without just covering it up with perfumes or by using harmful chemical bleaches. In fact this product is actually a catalyst which, although it causes the oxidation of the odor molecules, is not burned up in the reaction, leaving the product free to continue its deodorizing. One molecule of the active ingredient in All-Natural Deodorizer will actively cause the neutralization of as many as one million odor causing molecules.

For barns, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, garages, cat boxes, garbage cans, cars, trucks, boats, RV’s, and anywhere malodors can be found, just spray All-Natural Deodorizer in the air and it will remove most odors in minutes or seconds. It is safe on wood, ceramic tile, plastics, fiberglass, laminates, metal, rubber and fabrics. All-Natural Deodorizer destroys cooking odors from meat, fish, poultry, vegetables and fruit. Diesel fuel odors, human and animal waste, most mold and mildew odors, smoke and pet odors, ammonias and other common odors are effectively removed. It can be used as a room spray, in carpet extraction cleaning, barn smells, bed linen, added to washing machines and much more. The green color is natural to the product and at normal use rates is not a factor and will not stain fabrics. If a fabric is soaked, the green will rinse out with water.
